NATO takes over command in Libya

NATO will take over, according to the Turkish Foreign Minister, the command of the Libya-operation. Gaddafi loyal troops are holding  the rebel-cities under attack, sources speak of 100 dead.


NATO will take over in the words of the Turkish Foreign Minister to command the use of enforcing the flight ban on Libya. A NATO diplomat in Brussels confirmed the information and said the command is on "Monday or Tuesday" to go to the military alliance. In Libya, the international military alliance, even after turning off the Libyan air force does not prevent bloodshed among civilians. In the days of fighting around Misurata after a report from the U.S. station CNN for more than 100 people have been killed. 1300 more people were injured. The transmitter relying on a doctor.

    The United States never was in command, and they were never leading the coalition. France and Britain were.
